Maria Teresa Projecto is a young mezzo-soprano, currently studying soloist singing, specially dedicated to operatic repertoire.
She has studied music at the Conservatório Regional de Évora - EBORAE MVSICA and as a singer she has collaborated with several choirs and ensembles, having been selected for the internship at Gulbenkian Choir in 2017, and participated in the RISING STARS program at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. She has worked with several conductors such Michel Corboz, Paul McCreesh, Paulo Lourenço, Peter Phillips, Owen Rees, Vasco Pearce de Azevedo, Clara Alcobia Coelho, Pedro Teixeira and João Barros. She has performed a variety of repertoire, sometimes as a soloist, in concert halls such as Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Centro Cultural de Belém or Fundación Juan March.
As a singer, she had the opportunity to work with Joana Nascimento, Geert Berghs, Jill Feldman, João Lourenço, Ana Paula Russo, Ariana Russo, Rafaela Albuquerque, John Pickering and Marina Viotti.
